Description Perform a variety of complex technical field assignments involving the installation, inspection, modification, testing or troubleshooting of air pollution control products and equipment such as wet & dry ESP's, fabric filters, scrubbers, etc. Provide assistance to customers in choosing appropriate B&W products for performance improvement when applicable.
- Perform field service operations that may involve testing and verification of equipment and unusual problems requiring strong technical skills.
- Ability to write detailed reports of problems encountered, tests performed and work completed.
- Assist in planning and coordinating team efforts.
- Support Sales efforts, including assisting in presentations when needed. Spanish language proficiency a plus.
- Often work non-standard schedules at field locations with exposure to varying environmental conditions.
- Ability to work independently to accomplish task and effectively manage time to coordinate multiple jobs.
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment, applying own knowledge and experience to resolve problems.
- Must be adaptable to a changing work environment and able to cope with delays or unexpected events.
Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field or 4 to 6 years of experience in an industrial setting.
