Shift: Varied 12 hours; Saturday and Sunday 6:00 am to 6:00 pm and one overnight- Monday 6:00 pm to Tuesday 6:00 am
Guaranteed Hours: 36
Experience: Minimum 2 years of current Imaging/CT/X-Ray experience required
License: License of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy
Certifications: BLS, ARRT (CT)(R)
Must-Have:
- Ability to work independently/hit the ground running
- IV Skills
Job Description:
- Perform all diagnostic procedures with the knowledge of all pertinent and academic areas to produce consistent, high-quality exams.
- Work effectively with patients and physicians and maintain a cooperative relationship with interdepartmental personnel.
- Recognize the purpose of employment is to prioritize the patient as number one and to put forth the utmost quality as a technologist.
- Perform necessary procedures on patients in all age groups.
- Dress Code: Personal scrubs, any color
- EMR: HMS Medhost
- Patient Population: Newborn - Geriatric
- CT Scanner: Siemens Somatom 40 slice
- X-ray: Carestream
- Proficiency with MediTech, Phillips, Siemens, AGFA DR, Siemens, OEC C-arm is highly preferred
- Travel experience is preferred
- Bachelor Degree is preferred
