Job Description

CTTX Health is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Senior CT Technologist to join our team. As a Senior CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating and supervising the operation of computerized tomography (CT) equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures. You will work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to obtain high-quality images for accurate patient diagnosis. Additionally, you will provide guidance and mentorship to junior CT technologists. We are seeking an individual with strong leadership skills and a passion for delivering exceptional patient care and improving outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and supervise the operation of computerized tomography (CT) equipment to perform diagnostic imaging procedures.
  • Prepare patients for CT scans by explaining the procedure, positioning them correctly, and administering contrast agents when necessary.
  • Evaluate patient medical history to ensure appropriate procedures are performed and assess any potential risks.
  • Monitor patient conditions during the exam and make necessary adjustments.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to determine and evaluate diagnostic results.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient procedures and outcomes.
  • Train and mentor junior CT technologists, providing guidance and support.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

Requirements:

  • Valid certification or license as a CT Technologist.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CT Technologist.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in operating computerized tomography (CT) equipment.
  • Extensive knowledge of radiographic positioning and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to effectively handle stressful situations and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
