About the CT Technologist Position: - Perform diagnostic CT scans on patients, ensuring the highest quality imaging.
- Operate and maintain CT equipment, adhering to safety protocols and quality standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to acquire relevant patient information and ensure accurate scan procedures.
- Position and prepare patients for scans, providing clear instructions and maintaining their comfort throughout the process.
- Evaluate scan results for quality and clarity, reporting any abnormalities to the appropriate medical personnel.
- Maintain patient records and ensure accurate documentation of procedures.
- Stay updated on advancements in CT technology and participate in continuous education to enhance skills.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to ensure effective communication and patient care.
- Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines in the CT imaging process.
CT Technologist Qualifications: - ARRT Certification
- An Associate's Degree in Radiography
- New Jersey DEP License
- Previous experience in CT Technology preferred
