CT Technologist (Outpatient)
POSITION TYPE: Allied Health

Are you a detail-oriented and patient CT Scan Technologist looking for a rewarding career?
We're seeking a highly motivated Outpatient CT Scan Technologist to join our team! In this role, you'll play a vital role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.
What You'll Do:
  • Perform routine and specialized CT scan examinations using state-of-the-art equipment.
  • Prepare and position patients for scans, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Assist physicians during procedures as needed.
  • Process and review CT scan images for quality and completeness.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Educate patients about their CT scan procedures.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues to ensure efficient workflow.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest advancements in CT technology and best practices.
What We're Looking For:
  • Graduate of an accredited radiography program with a focus on CT.
  • (R) and or (CT) certified and / or NMTCB registered (CNMT), and documented training and experience in operating CT equipment and radiation physics and protection.
  • DOH IV certification preferred or by completion of 6-month orientation.
  • BLS certification through the (AHA) American Heart Association is required or must be completed within 90 days of hire.
  • New York State DOH Licensure or Limited Permit required.
  • ARRT registered (RT) with CT (or R) certification preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience operating CT equipment.
