Sentara Healthcare is currently hiring for a CT Tech to work at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital, a Level I Trauma Center located in Norfolk, VA.

Full-time nights 40 hours per week
Department/Position Overview:
Sentara Norfolk General Hospital is the only Level I Trauma Center in Hampton Roads, VA. We offer high level advanced imaging capabilities including neuro and interventional procedures. If you are a confident, hardworking technologist interested in expanding your knowledge base in this highly specialized area, this is the position for you. We welcome Radiology Techs who are looking to cross train into CT.
Job Requirements:
Required Education: Trade School Graduate - Radiologic Technology
Required ARRT Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) - Other/National
Required: Cert Nuclear Med Tech
Required: Basic Life Support
Required: Advanced CT registry in ARRT or CNMT to be obtained within two (2) years of hire. ARRT or CNMT is required.
Performs Computed Tomography (CT) and CT guided interventional procedures under the direction of a qualified physician; provides patient and family education; operates equipment safely; completes department documentation; maintains all equipment to be clean and operational; maintains adequate supply inventory for performing examinations.

Job Summary
