Job Description
Job Title: CT Tech
Job Specialty: Radiology/Imaging
Job Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 7a-7p, Friday-Sunday
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Experience: One year of radiologic/imaging experience
License: NY license required
Certifications: Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists, Current BCLS certification
Must-Have:
- Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology
- Possesses knowledge and understanding of general anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
- Maintains all registries and licenses required by state and federal law
Job Description:
- Perform CT scans according to established protocols
- Ensure patient safety during procedures
- Assist in the preparation and maintenance of imaging equipment
- Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members
- Provide high-quality images for interpretation by radiologists
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Adhere to all regulatory requirements and safety standards in the imaging department
