Job Description
Job Title: CT Technologist
Job Specialty: Radiology / Cardiology - CT Technician
Job Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night 4x12-Hour (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM), Every Other Weekend
Guaranteed Hours: Not specified
Experience: Inpatient, ER, Community Hospital, PACS, Contrast
License: Must have a valid state license. Requirements differ based on location. For specific locations, pending licenses may be accepted.
Certifications: BLS, ARRT, and State Board of Physicians certified
Must-Have: Flu vaccine required with no exemptions
Job Description:
- Work 3-12 hour shifts or 4-9 hour shifts on nights, including every other weekend on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.
- Perform CT scans for dry heads, dry abdomen and pelvis (sometimes with contrast), CT perfusions, CTA head and neck, CTA chests, and GI bleeds.
- Required to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity.
- Wear specified scrubs: wine top and black bottoms.
- Document procedures using the Cerner documentation system.
- Complete orientation with 28 hours at 50% non-billable.
- Engage with pre-start and potentially ongoing modules during orientation, which can average 12 hours.
- Be comfortable with the possibility of not having an interview before assignment.
- Provide two supervisor references from previous positions.
