We are currently looking for a Full Time Lead Laundry Attendant located at the Chickasaw Laundry Service working.
Summary:
Train all newly hired employees, assist management and operate Garment Inventory Management System, conveyor operations and perform daily physical labor necessary to run the laundry department.

* Maintain knowledge of and follow all laws, rules, regulations, policies and SOPs for assigned area, e.g. MICS, TICS, hospital standards, health codes, food sanitation, accounting principles, etc.
* Sweeps, mops, dusts, vacuums and performs basic cleaning and janitorial procedures
* Commercial laundry operations
- Manually operates the following equipment: EVue, washing/drying machine, ironing/pressing equipment and conveyor equipment
- Carries uniforms, hotel laundry and other supplies to and from the uniform distribution vehicles
- Cleans garments daily to ensure stains are pretreated prior to dry cleaning
- Prepares laundry for delivery to facilities by pressing, steaming, and inspecting ensuring department quality standards are being maintained
* Verifies quantities being shipped to and received from the facility by counting each garment
* Sorts laundry by tag numbers to ensure orderly storage and processing of items
* Assists with orientation, special activities and training on specific procedures, tasks or equipment
* Mentors, coaches, develops and assists in training in assigned area
- Trains staff as needed
- Creates training manuals for assigned area staff and continuously updates with improved processes
