YOUR DAY TO DAY :
This is an entry level position where the individual will be responsible for the tuning, testing, and troubleshooting of RF microwave modules with some direction by engineering, production test technician(s), and/or supervisor. The responsible individual will be working within a fast-paced high mix work cell while meeting product cost, schedule, quality, and department requirements. Technician will be responsible for ensuring all product electrical requirements are being met per applicable specifications.
YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR :
  • Performs routine electronic and technical assignments such as tuning, testing, troubleshooting, adjusting, testing, tubes, microwave products, devices, and systems; works from schematics, engineering drawings, written and verbal instructions.
  • Operates related electronic and mechanical equipment necessary to construct, test, evaluate process, repair and maintain specific product or equipment.
  • Conducts routine tests and detailed engineering testing and reports data in a prescribed format.
  • Performs analysis of rejected, returned, and in-process basic microwave tubes in support of engineering and manufacturing as required.
  • Develop skill and knowledge in specific product or equipment.
  • Perform other duties as needed and assigned.
YOU ARE THE RIGHT PERSON FOR THIS JOB IF YOU HAVE :
  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Taken some electronics classes/background preferred
  • Ability to use Network Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, DMM;s, Spectrum Analyzers, and other RF test equipment
  • Proficient computer usage
  • Team oriented
  • Strong communications skills
  • Good manual dexterity
  • Ability to use microscope daily
  • Interesting in obtaining a J-STD-001
  • U.S. Citizenship and are able to obtain/maintain a U.S. Department of Defense Security Clearance.
Salary Range: $21.49 - $27.93/ hour
