Location: Onsite in Pittsburgh, PA (Coraopolis)
Job Type: Contract to Hire
Part-Time: 15-20 hours a week
Seeking a highly organized and detail-orientedPart-Time Accounting Assistant to support our engineering client. In this role, you will be responsible for managing Accounts Payable, preparing and reconciling monthly bank statements, entering and depositing cash receipts, and filing agreements. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong accounting and administrative skills who is looking for part-time flexibility.
Responsibilities

  • Manage Accounts Payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
  • Prepare and reconcile monthly bank statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Enter and process cash receipts and deposits, maintaining detailed records.
  • File and organize agreements and other important financial documents.
  • Provide general support for accounting and finance functions as needed.
Qualifications
  • Prior experience in an accounting role, with experience in an engineering or technical setting preferred.
  • Proficiency with accounting software.
  • Well-versed in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively in a part-time role.
