DescriptionnnAmazon Health is looking for a Senior UX Designer to help shape results-driven work that inspires, motivates and educates our audience in the healthcare space. You will be a key part of a multifaceted Design team to bring our brand to life and help people find and engage with healthcare offerings to get and stay healthy.nnKey job responsibilitiesnnLead the design process for complex user experiences, from research and strategy to prototyping and testing.nnConduct in-depth user research through methods like interviews, usability testing, and analytics to deeply understand user needs and pain points.nnCreate detailed user journeys, information architecture, wireframes, and high-fidelity interactive prototypes.nnCollaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and stakeholders, to ensure designs meet business requirements and technical feasibility.nnChampion a user-centered design approach throughout the organization and advocate for the needs of users.nnMentor and provide guidance to more junior designers, helping to develop their skills and design thinking.nnStay up-to-date with the latest UX trends, best practices, and design tools, and apply innovative solutions to complex design problems.nnContinuously evaluate and improve the overall UX of products and services through ongoing user feedback and performance analysis.nnEffectively communicate design decisions and rationale to both technical and non-technical audiences.nnContribute to the development and maintenance of the org's design system and UI library.nnAbout the teamnnOur org's mission is to improve health outcomes by making it dramatically easier for anyone to find, choose, afford, and engage with the quality products and services they need to get and stay healthy.nnWe use design, service, and technology to change the way people think about their health. You’ll have the opportunity to make a big impact and join our mission of building experiences that help people live better lives.nnBasic QualificationsnnHave an online portfolio or samples of work on resume, demonstrating experience creating great end-to-end, user-centered design solutions and patterns, across desktop and mobile devicesnn7+ years of UX designer or interaction designer experiencennPreferred QualificationsnnFluent in best practices for information architecture and interaction design, user-centered design process, as well as strong knowledge of user experience principles and techniquesnnExperience working in a collaborative team and working directly with developers for implementation of designsnnHave strong practical knowledge of user-centered design methodologies, usability principles, web-based information architecture, and designnnAble to move quickly in a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environmentnnNaturally curious and find inspiration beyond the screen; through the people you talk to, analogous experiences, and beyondnnHave experience designing services and delivering UX solutions for projects of large scope and complexitynnHave experience owning projects, communicating timelines, aligning stakeholders, and executing independentlynnConfidently present a strong rationale for design decisions and rely on analytics and data (including qualitative data) to shape product decisions and track the effectiveness of changennSolid written, verbal, and presentation skillsnnFluent in using Figma and prototyping toolsnnAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $127,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $211,600/year in our highest geographic market.
