GENERAL SUMMARY:nnSHIFT: PRN, hours per week and shift will vary depending on needs of the department.nnProvides services to patients within accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations, under the direct supervision of a registered technologist. Responsibilities: Prepares for and assists the supervising technologists and physicians in a variety of imaging procedures.| Prepares contrast media and medications as directed by a supervising technologist.| Assists in maintaining a clean, safe and orderly department, including procedure rooms, storage areas and dressing rooms.| Transports patients to and from medical imaging. Assists in moving patients to, from and between radiographic tables, stretchers and wheelchairs. Assists patients with general comfort care.| Completes paper and computer workflow procedures as directed by a supervising technologist.nnEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:nnHigh school diploma equivalency OR enrolled in accredited program specific to discipline.nnCERTIFICATION/LICENCES REQUIRED:nnBLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
