CT Technologist
Full-time - Nights /Weekends
Zentech Consulting has a CT Technologist (2-opening) for a 523-bed, full-service medical and surgical acute care center. For over 49 years, we have served North Central Florida. We offer comprehensive cardiovascular care, oncology, orthopedics, and neurosciences. We offer minimally-invasive laparoscopic and robotic surgery, weight loss surgery and treatment. Other services that we provide include women's health and wound therapy. We are fully accredited by the Joint Commission and certified as a Comprehensive Stroke Center. Our hospital has an Accredited Chest Pain Center by ACC (American College of Cardiology) and is designated as a Blue Distinction Center for Spine Surgery and Bariatric Surgery. Job Summary and Qualifications
Provides care for patients requiring CT procedures. Performs all duties directly involved with procedures utilizing CT for diagnostic procedures and guidance for interventional procedures in accordance with ALARA standards. Operates equipment setting appropriate technical factors to produce diagnostic quality images according to radiology practice standards, minimize patient dose, and relay images along with pertinent clinical information to the physician for interpretation. Assists with inventory management and patient scheduling. Takes on-call as assigned to provide after-hours high volume coverage.
Additional position details :
The facility does not hire candidates that will work only in the hospital or only at a FSED. They rotate everyone through the hospital and FSEDs for their weekly schedule. They won't work in one location exclusively. All candidates are required to have their CT registry since they will work at the FSED and it's required at those facilities.
Requirements
Experience Requirements:
1yr exp in CT required
Certification/Licensure Requirements :
FL State Radiology License
ARRT - R and CT
Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)
