Job Summary: A Precision Equipment Installer is responsible for traveling nationwide to perform installation, delivery, and calibration services for imaging, diagnostics, and safety equipment for major OEM partners. The Precision Equipment Installer will work closely with all members of the UTSS staff including Employee Engagement, Zone Managers, Field Supervisors, Warehouse Specialists, Project Coordination Groups. It is the expectation of this position that Precision Equipment Installers lead the UTSS Team with world-class customer service and technical knowledge, delivering quality installation, delivery, and calibration solutions to effectively improve customer satisfaction. The ideal Precision Equipment Installer is self-motivated and willing to commit to projects as assigned. He/She is willing and able to travel up to 100% domestically and abroad to support ongoing projects. In addition, this individual must be motivated to continue to build and retain excellent relationships with our partners and staff. Requirements Duties/Responsibilities: - Performing mechanical installations, delivery, and calibration of hospital grade medical equipment such as CT, MRI, X-Ray, and Cath Lab, as well as airport security, automation, etc.
- Setting, leveling, and anchoring equipment per installation manual
- Pulling cables and making cable connections per installation manual
- Troubleshooting onsite construction and equipment issues and communicating directly with customers and UTSS staff about project to arrive at amicable solutions
- Providing feedback to UTSS staff regarding operational improvements
- Following all federal, state, and local regulation regarding radiation, calibration, and safety
- Abiding by all OSHA Safety Regulations
- Completing all required internal and customer required paperwork
- Attending all required UTSS projects and training events.
- Responsible for following all standard operating procedures and company policies.
- Instructing Trainees on how to properly and safely install, deinstall, and lead equipment installations
- Traveling weekly travel to customer project sites (average jobs range between 2-7 days, travel is by car or plane)
- Maintain all customer and UTSS-owned equipment and tooling
- Overnight travel will be required as necessary to support business needs
- Overtime will be required as necessary to support business needs
- Reading and understanding specifications to include drawings, blueprints, technical manuals, delivery instructions
- Following detailed installation or disassembly instructions and all other discipline related project and engineering documentation
- All other duties as assigned by management

Education and Experience: - High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Prior experience in electrical or mechanical field preferred
- Forklift experience preferred
