We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate CT Technologist to join our client's dedicated radiology team in California. The CT Technologist will perform computed tomography (CT) imaging procedures to help diagnose and treat patients. We are seeking an ideal candidate with strong attention to detail, excellent patient care skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality CT imaging procedures, including but not limited to diagnostic scans, interventional procedures, and CT-guided biopsies.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after the imaging procedures.
- Prepare and position patients for CT scans, ensuring optimal image quality and accuracy.
- Operate and maintain CT equipment, adhering to established protocols and safety standards.
- Review and evaluate images for technical quality and proper positioning.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to discuss patient imaging results.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory requirements.
- Follow radiation safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and self from unnecessary exposure.
- Participate in continuous education and training to stay current with advancements in CT technology and best practices.
Qualifications: - Associate's degree in radiologic technology or equivalent.
- Current ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification in CT.
- Valid California state license to practice as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Minimum of (X) years of experience as a CT Technologist preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is required.
- Strong technical skills with the ability to operate CT imaging equipment effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities.
