The ideal candidate is an experienced automotive bookkeeping professional. Knowledge of and experience with the Reynolds & Reynolds or the CDK (ADP) DMS systems is a plus. We seek someone who is a self-starter who can communicate well with others and who takes pride in his/her working style.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
n
n- Checks all vouchers and obtains appropriate payment approval
n- Prepares accounts payable checks
n- Posts all open items in accounts payable daily
n- Prints all accounts payable reports and maintains all accounts payable files
n- Reconciles statement and the ledger making sure the payments are consistent with dealership schedule
n- Answers all vendor inquiries
n- Assists in monthly closings
n- Prepares analysis of accounts, as required
n- Assists with accounts receivable and special projects, as necessary
n- Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:
n
n- Preferably two years of experience in a position of similar responsibility, but willing to train the right candidate
n- Strong computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Office suite and accounting software
n- Knowledge of and experience with the Reynolds & Reynolds or the CDK (ADP) DMS systems is a plus
n- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
n- Able to deal with confidential information appropriately
n- Strong attention to detail and interest in accuracy
n- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
