The Mobile MRI Technician plays a crucial role in supporting the production of MRI equipment by performing complex technical tasks such as fabrication, assembly, testing, troubleshooting, and ensuring compliance with quality and safety standards. The technician will be involved in both hardware and software evaluation, data acquisition, and lead quality activities. They will also train other team members and support process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Testing & Compliance:
• Test production assemblies and sub-assemblies for correct operation.
• Ensure products meet performance specifications and industry standards.
• Interface with other departments to ensure efficient material flow and information exchange.
Problem-Solving & Troubleshooting:
• Use advanced troubleshooting techniques to resolve issues involving multiple variables.
• Conduct experiments and diagnostic tests to identify and correct issues.
• Provide feedback on system operation and intermodule interactions.
Engineering & Process Improvements:
• Assist in the evaluation and development of engineering models.
• Identify trends in defect and quality issues, sharing information with the team.
• Drive cross-department process improvements to reduce cycle time and enhance product quality.
Training & Leadership:
• Lead training sessions for team members, ensuring the knowledge transfer of technical skills.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance in troubleshooting and problem resolution.
• Assist with the creation of technical documentation and internal/external reports.
Safety & Compliance:
• Lead Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) projects to eliminate hazards and improve safety.
• Participate in compliance activities, including quality control inspections.
• Adhere to all relevant policies, quality systems, and regulatory requirements.
Manufacturing Support:
• Provide expert support on new product introductions, providing feedback to engineering and manufacturing teams.
• Contribute to reducing product cycle times and improving product reliability.
Qualifications:
Required Education:
• Associate's degree in Electronics Technology.
Required Skills:
• Proficient troubleshooting skills at both subsystem and system levels.
• Ability to draw conclusions from test data, malfunctions, and deviations.
• Technical leadership capabilities and experience working with limited direction.
• Strong communication skills in English.
• Ongoing commitment to staying current with technological advancements.

Compliance:
• Must be familiar with the Quality Manual and Quality Management System, ensuring adherence to all applicable laws and regulations.
• Complete all required quality and compliance training on time.
• Report and correct any quality concerns immediately.
Operational Understanding:
• Knowledge of production processes, documentation requirements, and configuration control.
• Compliance with processes related to calibration, preventative maintenance, material identification, and good documentation practices.
