Job Summary and Qualifications
As a Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist, you will perform MRI procedures, utilizing advanced MRI equipment and your expertise in anatomy and patient positioning to ensure optimal imaging quality. You will:
- Perform MRI examinations using proper contrast media protocols.
- Identify anatomical orientation in required images and ensure proper film identification.
- Evaluate MRI quality and determine any need for additional imaging before discussing findings with the radiologist.
- Participate in on-call duties as needed.
Qualifications We Seek:
- Minimum two years of experience in Radiologic Technology or one year as an MRI Technologist.
- ARRT and Basic Life Support Certification required.
- Preferred: two years of experience as an MRI Technologist in a hospital environment and a degree from an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program.
