Connect with your Talent Advisor for additional specifics.nnResponsibilitiesnnPerform diagnostic procedures to assess cardiac structures and hemodynamics in accordance with accepted protocols.nnSet up and adjust all imaging equipment and manually maneuvers transducers to perform exams.nnImplement safety standards and perform appropriate quality control procedures.nnPerform routine and complex studies and assists in a variety of imaging procedures.nnRecognize significant structures, artifacts, pathology and equipment limitations.nnPosition patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately.nnEnsure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards.nnEnsure prompt submission of high-quality of all images and document sent to PACS (image quality, correct lead markers and patient data/history).nnAssist in maintaining a clean, safe, and orderly department to include procedure rooms, storage areas, dressing rooms, film storage area and any other areas in department.nnRequirementsnnLicensure / Certification / Registration:nnBLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.nnOne or more of the following required:nnCardiac Sonographer specializing in Adult Echo credentialed from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. Advanced Pediatric Echocardiography Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer-Pediatric Echocardiography (RDCS-PE) or Fetal Echocardiography Registered DiagnosticCardiac Sonographer-Pediatric Echocardiography (RDCS-FE) also accepted.nnSonography Tech specializing in Cardiac credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date.
