My client is an asset management firm that aims to bring scale and simplification to the broadly syndicated leveraged loan market with their data-enabled and rules-based investment platform. Their platform is designed to minimize tracking error through portfolio optimization. They are seeking a talented Application Developer with expertise in cloud technologies to build next-generation web applications to support their rapidly growing firm.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain web applications using modern frameworks and technologies
• Support the development of REST APIs for backend integration
• Build applications that advance the usage of our Snowflake Data Warehouse
• Identify opportunities to build solutions that improve operational excellence
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design and ship new features
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code
• Stay up to date on trends, best practices, and emerging technologies across the software engineering space and integrate into the platform where applicable

Qualifications:

• Proven development experience working with web UI frameworks such as React, Angular, Streamlit
• Proficiency in Python
• Experience working with SQL databases such as Snowflake
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and DevOps best practices
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field
• Familiarity of credit markets a plus
