Our client is a large organization that is building out its team to undergo a tech transformation. They pride themselves on fostering an environment where their employees’ voices are always heard, and they are constantly being challenged. They are looking for a Chief Technology Officer who will lead the strategic direction, planning, implementation, and maintenance of all information technology initiatives. This is an onsite position based in Fairfield County, CT.
Chief Technology Officer’s Responsibilities and Duties
- Develop and execute a comprehensive IT strategy aligned with the hospital’s overall mission, vision, and objectives.
- Lead digital transformation initiatives to enhance clinical and operational performance.
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the IT department, ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of all hospital information systems and networks.
- Develop and implement robust cybersecurity measures to protect patient data and hospital information systems.
Chief Technology Officer’s Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Healthcare Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- At least 10 years of experience in IT management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role within a healthcare setting.
- Proven experience in leading digital transformation and implementing enterprise-wide technology initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of healthcare information systems, including EHR/EMR platforms, telehealth, and data analytics tools.
