(Must have the ability to utilize laptop, etc. to be able to access needed information and perform diagnostic tests.)nnPerforms work as outlined in work instructions set forth by Service Manager; efficiently, accurately, and in accordance with Custom Truck One Source standards.nnDiagnosis and repair LMI Diagnostics (Load Moment Indicator) and CAN bus (Controller Area Network)nnExperience troubleshooting and repair of Utility trucks & Equipment including electrical and hydraulics.nnInspects and services vehicles and makes repairs and adjustments both at the service center and in the field.nnVerify work performed, road test vehicles as necessary.nnPrepare inspection reports, repair orders (recording service time and parts costs) and timecards completely and accurately.nnTag all warranty and core parts for return.nnAdvises management immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised.nnAttends CTOS safety training and follows all safety requirements.nnAttends CTOS and factory -sponsored training classes.nnUnderstand and follow federal, state and local regulations such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes.nnCommunicate easily with customers and internal departments to ensure minimal equipment downtime.nnFlexibility to travel beyond the area of coverage, based on business need.nnWork closely with Service Manager to grow and improve customer satisfaction.nnAdditional duties or responsibilities as designated by the Service Manager.nnPreferred Skills:nnElectrical, schematic / blueprints, hydraulic, welding, and related experiencennExperience with Quick Serve, DTNA, or related diagnostic software.nnDOT, ANSI, and Dielectric testing desirednnRequirements:nnHigh School diploma or GED.nnFive years of related experience. (Shop Tech and Field Tech)nnMust hold a valid driver’s license. (CDL Class B preferred.)nnMust have your own tools.nnProficient in documentation using software, meeting deadlines and schedules.nnMental/Physical Requirements:nnAbility to regularly work in outside weather conditions, including wet and/or humid conditions.
