As a Laundry Driver , you are responsible for all standards and procedures connected with the hotel's laundry vehicles. Therefore, you will be an image of professionalism and follow strict rules and regulations while driving/handling the hotel vehicles. In addition, you must assist the laundry team with all related laundry attendant tasks.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Transport laundry to/from assigned destinations using a property vehicle
- Perform Laundry Attendant duties when there are no scheduled pick up/drop off trips
- Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of all laundry equipment and how to use it; inspect property vehicles for damage and cleanliness; check the property vehicle's tire pressure and fluid levels; and refuel, as necessary
- Document all vehicle incidents (i.e., damages, accidents) and provide reports of incidents to the manager/supervisor
- Follow all company policies and procedures; ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional; maintain the confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets
- Speak with others using clear and professional language
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with others
- Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards; identify, recommend, and implement new ways to increase organizational quality
- Comply with the hotel's environmental, health and safety policies and procedures
Qualifications: - A current U.S. driver's license is required
- Should be well-versed with Idaho State traffic laws
- Be able to speak some English
- Understanding the job, taking responsibility, being adaptable, and teamwork
- Be able to stand for prolonged periods
- Possess the ability to lift 50 pounds with regularity
