Job Description

Our client is a distinguished organization, dedicated to fostering a more sustainable and connected future. Their core operations include providing critical services to a broad customer base and overseeing a diverse array of assets. They are looking for a Network Telecommunications Engineer who will be responsible for planning, evaluating, and implementing network systems to maintain and improve service levels. This is an onsite position based in Kennebec County, Maine.


Network Telecommunications Engineer’s Responsibilities and Duties

  • Plan, evaluate, and implement existing network systems.
  • Make recommendations for resources necessary to maintain and/or expand service levels.
  • Respond to technical issues with network hardware and software.
  • Utilize various testing tools to diagnose and resolve network facility problems.
  • Handle requests related to moves, additions, and changes in voice and data communications for the customer community.


Network Telecommunications Engineer’s Qualifications and Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Network Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience with network system planning and implementation.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with both hardware and software systems.
  • Familiarity with voice and data communications connectivity.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills.
