Litigation Paralegal
We are seeking an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join a dynamic and well-established law firm in the Century City area. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to a diverse range of cases involving construction, land use, and landlord/tenant matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive support to attorneys throughout all phases of litigation, including case preparation, discovery, trial, and post-trial activities.
- Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and correspondence.
- Manage case files, organize exhibits, and maintain electronic databases.
- Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorney review.
- Coordinate and schedule depositions, hearings, and mediations.
- Assist in preparing for trial, including creating trial binders and managing exhibits.
- Liaise with clients, experts, and opposing counsel to facilitate case progress.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal, with a focus on construction, land use, or landlord/tenant matters.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities.
- Proficiency in litigation support software and tools, including document management systems.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Paralegal certification or equivalent education is required.
Position Details:
- Schedule: 7.5-hour workday, starting between 8:30-9:00 AM.
- Hybrid work model: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote.
- No billable hour requirements.
