Position: Substation P&C Designer

LevelUP is partnering with a leading engineering firm to source a Substation P&C Designer responsible for high-quality deliverables in high-voltage substation design projects. This role emphasizes precision, technical expertise, and a collaborative approach to ensure successful project execution.
Position Summary:
The Substation P&C Designer will be integral to creating and reviewing technical deliverables such as One-Line Diagrams, Control House Layouts, Relay Panel Front Views, Elementary/Schematic Diagrams, Wiring Diagrams, Bills of Materials, and Cable Schedules. This role requires a solid foundation in AutoCAD Electrical (ACADE) to meet project goals effectively .
Salary is negotiable BOE level and will be discussed with the hiring manager during first round interview. Relocation assistance provided.

This is a hybrid role based in Knoxville, TN , offering a mix of remote and in-office work.

Key Responsibilities:
- Complete assignments with high accuracy within established budget and schedule constraints.
- Collaborate with and report to the P&C Group Lead to ensure project alignment.
- Develop and refine designs using AutoCAD Electrical (ACADE) based protection and control standards.
- Prepare technical deliverables and ensure compliance with IEEE and client standards.
- Contribute to the quality and accuracy of all project-related documents.
Required Qualifications:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or AutoCAD Electrical (ACADE) .
- Associate’s Degree in Design or Drafting.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in developing P&C designs for high-voltage power substations.
- Interest in adopting the latest Autodesk tools and technologies for power substation design.
