Title: Vice President of Resident Care / Nursing (Assisted Living)

Location: Fort Lauderdale, FL

Salary: $120k - $135k base, might be slightly negotiable, plus bonus and benefits

Job description:

The Vice President of Resident Care will assist Nurse Leadership and their teams in maintaining the physical and emotional health of the residents.

• Support Director of Resident Care in each community.
• Hire, train, and develop onboarding systems for the Resident Care department for all facilities.
• Prepare for AHCA audits and compliance
• Serve as the liaison between VP of Operations and Resident care Directors as they serve resident, family, physician, and other health care providers regarding health care issues.
• Ensure sound infection control practices are in place that promote a healthy environment and ensure all required infection control training is met.

Experience & Educational requirements

• RN License.
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Two years of experience in an assisted living environment preferred.
• Basic knowledge of and ability to apply Geriatric Nursing principles.
• Familiarity with Assisted Living State Regulations.
