Lead Systems Engineer
Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of satellites for defense and scientific missions. Balance performance, reliability, schedule, and cost across the project lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Design & Architecture: Develop system-level requirements and optimize satellite architecture for mission needs.
- Integration & Testing: Lead subsystem integration (avionics, propulsion, power, etc.) and oversee environmental testing (vibration, thermal vacuum, EMI/EMC).
- Project Management: Coordinate multidisciplinary teams and manage budgets, schedules, and risks.
- Compliance & Documentation: Ensure standards compliance (e.g., CubeSat, ECSS) and maintain technical records.
- Troubleshooting: Resolve issues during design, integration, and post-launch analysis.
Qualifications
- BS or MS in Aerospace, Electrical, or Systems Engineering.
- 5+ years in satellite development.
- Proficiency in MATLAB, STK, systems integration, and environmental testing. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
