Job Description

Manning Personnel Group, Inc., is actively seeking a Director of Human Resources who is eager to “roll up their sleeves” and drive innovative processes and insights that will ensure that our client is building a best in class People team. As the Human Resources Director, you will oversee the HR Systems and HR Programs and have strategic and operational oversight for systems & data, benefits, compensation, payroll, immigration, policy, process & compliance.


Responsibilities

  • Maintain knowledge and understanding of regulations, laws and industry best practices to ensure compliance with all applicable international, federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Partner with benefits brokers/vendors to review, update and administer benefits policies and programs, ensuring programs are competitive, compliant and scalable.
  • Recruit, interview, and aid managers in selecting the best candidates to fill vacancies
  • Plan and conduct new employee orientation to foster a positive attitude toward company goals
  • Administer all benefit programs including health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, and 401(k) plan
  • Partner with IT to oversee a technology roadmap across HR that will help provide a simple, scalable, automated and seamless experience throughout the employee lifecycle.
  • Review existing systems, tools and processes and develop and implement new changes to improve and streamline existing HR operations.
  • Creatively find new ways to educate and engage employees around HR programs.
  • Connect with employees to understand their wants and needs and develop HR programs that fulfill these.


Requirements

  • 10+ years of Human Resources experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HR, or related field. PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP is a plus.
  • Superior analytical skills and problem-solving ability, as evidenced by the proven ability
