Responsibilities: As a Senior Data Engineer, you will play a critical role in the following areas: Design, build, and manage our data infrastructure using Azure, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and other leading technologies. Develop and optimize data pipelines, architectures, and data sets using Python, SQL, and Apache. Utilize Fivetran, Delta Lake, and other tools to ensure the efficient and reliable flow of data throughout our systems. Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to create and maintain optimal data delivery architecture. Develop and implement data governance and security measures. Use Power BI, Tableau, and other data visualization tools to create insightful, user-friendly interfaces for our data. Develop and maintain JAR (Java Archive) files and related applications. Continuously evaluate and identify ways to improve our data reliability, efficiency, and quality. Collaborate with various teams and stakeholders to understand and address their data needs. Stay abreast of industry trends and innovations and apply this knowledge to your work. Qualifications: The ideal candidate for the Senior Data Engineer position will have the following qualifications: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus. 5 years' experience in a Data Engineer or similar role (9 years' experience for non-degreed). Proven experience with Azure, Python, Delta Lake, Fivetran, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Power BI, Tableau, JAR, SQL, Java Archive, Apache, or equivalent technologies. Extensive experience designing, building, and maintaining data pipelines and architectures. Strong knowledge of data management principles, including data governance and data security. Proficiency in data visualization and reporting tools. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred, but not required.
