Who we are looking for:

VML is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Producer to join our Creative Production team. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end production of high-quality live-action video and photography content across all platforms, working with both internal teams and external production partners. You will be a creative problem-solver with a keen eye for detail, a passion for storytelling, and a proven track record of delivering exceptional work on time and within budget.
What you'll do:

Production Management:
  • Lead the production process from concept to completion, including budgeting, scheduling, casting, location scouting, crew hiring, shoot production, post-production, and final delivery.
  • Develop and manage production budgets of varying scales, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Create and maintain detailed production schedules, ensuring all deadlines are met and stakeholders are informed of progress.
  • Source, negotiate with, and manage external production partners, including crew, directors, production companies, and photographers
  • Oversee all aspects of production logistics, including travel, accommodation, equipment rentals, and permits.
  • Manage client expectations and communication throughout the production process, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns.
  • Ensure all legal and rights clearances are obtained for all production elements.

Creative Collaboration:
  • Collaborate closely with creative teams, account teams, and clients to understand project objectives, target audiences, and creative briefs.
  • Provide production expertise and guidance during the creative development process, ensuring concepts are feasible and executable within budget and timeline constraints.
  • Contribute creative ideas and solutions to enhance the production value and impact of projects.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of emerging technologies and trends in video and photography production.

Team Leadership:
  • Mentor and guide junior production staff, providing training and support to foster their professional development.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment, promoting open communication and effective problem-solving.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of production processes and workflows.

What you'll need:
  • Minimum 5 years' experience working for a Brand and/or Advertising agency in a production role.
  • Proven experience managing all aspects of live-action video and photography productions from concept to completion.
  • A strong portfolio showcasing a diverse range of high-quality video and photography work across various platforms.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills as a team leader and team player.
  • A skilled creative, confident presenter, and demonstrated strong negotiator.
  • Demonstrated budget and scheduling management skills.
  • Must be extremely organized, detail-oriented

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below. Individual compensation varies based on job-related factors, including location, business needs, level of responsibility, experience, and qualifications. $75,000-$180,000 USD
