The
Director of Reporting and Data Visualization will lead a newly centralized team of highly skilled business analysts who transform complex data into clear, visual insights that drive strategic decision-making. Reporting to the VP of Enterprise Analytics, this highly visible leader will be responsible for developing and managing our suite of Tableau and PowerBI dashboards and reports, providing actionable analysis, and supporting data-driven corporate strategies.
About the Role:- Lead a newly centralized team of business analytics talent in managing centralized reporting hub for the Enterprise Analytics team, delivering high-impact business and customer reporting and data visualizations
- Develop and maintain dashboards and reports that provide stakeholders with real-time insights into key metrics such as audience demographics, engagement trends, streaming performance, and revenue forecasting.
- Uses deep business, analytical, and technical knowledge to lead discussions with cross functional teams to understand and collaborate highly complex business objectives and influence solution strategies.
- Implement industry best practices in reporting and data visualization including UX/UI, query optimization, data standardization and visualization, and dashboard lifecycle management
- Establish enterprise reporting governance and best practices to ensure consistency in data sources and usage, branding, look and feel, and monitoring
- Ensures that reports and dashboards adhere to minimum performance standards, with ongoing optimization of queries and dashboard structure to maximize performance of total portfolio
- Explore and implement new data and analytic tools, techniques and industry best practices to apply to business problems.
- Build organizational partnerships across lines and functional teams to define and inform key strategic decisions.
- Ensure sound data strategy, quality, and coding best practices and bring recommendations and suggestions for improvements to supporting areas.
About You:- Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Operation Research, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or a quantitative field. Master's/PhD/MBA a plus.
- 8+ Years of hands-on experience in delivering business analytics, data, and/or data science at enterprise scale
- 5+ Years experience managing analytics teams in fields such as Marketing Analytics, Product Analytics, etc. with at least 2 years managing and optimizing a central reporting hub.
- Extensive experience developing user friendly, intuitive, accurate, relevant, consistent reports that are optimized for performance and user experience
- Expert knowledge of data analysis tools, data visualization, and query development, including SQL, Alteryx, dbt, Snowflake, Tableau, PowerBI
- Extensive experience leading and managing complex cross-functional projects.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills with an ability to synthesize data and deliver meaningful insights for action.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact, tailor, and translate analyses and methodology and influence at senior levels of the organization.
- Proactively build business relationships across the Enterprise

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations. Eligible office location(s) for this role include one or more of the following: New York City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and/or Irvine, CA; McLean, VA; Washington, DC. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $173,300 - $321,800. Eagan, MN; Ann Arbor, MI; Richmond, VA; Rochester, NY. The base compensation range for the role in any of those locations is $149,700 - $277,900. Chicago, IL; Frisco, TX; Houston, TX; fully remote location. For these locations and any eligible US locations not otherwise noted, including for fully remote location if applicable, the base compensation range for this role is $157,500 - $292,500. This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance. Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
