HR Business Partner: The Impact You'll Have On The Organization and World- You'll play a critical role in the success of our sites. As HR Business Partner, you'll partner with business leaders to develop and execute HR strategies focused on talent management, organizational effectiveness, workforce planning, and employee engagement.

What Does a Typical Day Look Like? Here are your primary responsibilities:
- Apply HR policies and procedures in everyday business operations in collaboration and cooperation with HR team members and leadership
- Manage employee life-cycle processes and programs, including compensation, benefits, and leave; performance improvement matters; disputes and investigations; talent management; recognition and engagement as well as training and development
- Partner with leaders to understand and execute the organization's talent strategy, particularly as it relates to workforce planning, recruiting, retention, and succession planning to support a high-performing culture
- Identify and deliver activities to promote high associate engagement
- Use strong functional HR knowledge and expertise to support and advise managers on HR-related issues, including people concerns, policies, processes, and programs
- Participate as a key driver in the talent acquisition process, which may include recruiting, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants, and collaborating with managers to understand skills and competencies required for vacancies, to attract and retain great talent
- Understand and utilize the HRIS resources to provide routine timekeeping, payroll and benefits guidance to associates and managers
- Act as a trusted coach that builds relationships and engages with managers on business and people issues to help build effective teams and achieve business goals
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommends best practices; reviews policies and practices to ensure compliance
- Champion continuous improvement in the human resource functions by developing, implementing, and supporting human resource initiatives, policies, procedures, and systems
- Create and facilitate learning and development programs and initiatives to provide internal development opportunities for associates
- Coordinate the performance review process
- Serve as a subject matter expert for junior colleagues in the broader HR team
- Educate associates about company policies, health and welfare benefits, and human resource related topics
What is Needed to be Successful in this Role (Required Skills/Abilities):
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent (advanced degree preferred)
- At least 6 years of relevant work experience
- Prior experience in other HR COE disciplines preferred (Compensation, Benefits, Labor Relations, Talent Acquisition, Organization & Talent Management, and Workforce Planning)
- Strong preference for current HR certification
- Proficient in MS Office, specifically skilled with Excel (experience with Ceridian Dayforce HCM is a plus)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong conflict resolution skills
- Flexible and dynamic HR Professional with ability to provide strategic solutioning as well as perform the tactical or administrative work required in a lean HR environment
- Thorough and independent work approach, loyal, work well independently and within a team
- Previous experience working at a medium to large industrial company is a plus
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 20%
