The VP Strategy will partner across the full senior leadership team across LBS and work closely with the leadership team within the Dx Platform and DHR Corporate to develop, articulate, and execute business strategies that drive meaningful improvements across the full LBS portfolio of cancer diagnostic solutions and, in turn, drive market share gains, maximize profitability and drive shareholder value for Danaher overall.
Key Objectives:

Full ownership of the end-to-end strategic process - from vision through execution - to achieve sustainable growth.

Develop thought leadership on industry trends both emerging and established to ensure business is aligned to capitalize and establish a market leadership position.

Lead market work within both existing spaces and adjacent spaces in order to open up strategic opportunities for LBS.

Lead the formation of a coherent strategic plan in collaboration with Opco and Dx Platform leadership that clearly conveys a differentiated and defensible position for LBS.

Develop conviction on clinical and commercial priorities by assessing the associated attractiveness through vectors such as digital pathology, pathomics, pharma partnerships, cancer companion diagnostics (CDx) and competitive considerations.

Communicate, guide & mentor the Strategic planning process across the Senior Leadership team within the OpCo.

Facilitate workshops that encourage reflection, effective tool utilization and the development of deep insights for the OpCo strategic initiatives.

Create an inclusive environment and utilize diverse talent in market research & insight development to elevate talent & produce higher quality initiatives.

Collaborate across the OpCo with subject matter experts and identified resources to perform market analysis, identifying targets, supporting due diligence efforts etc.
Preferred Background:

10+ years evaluating the market attractiveness and strategic fit of new businesses/markets/domains.

5-10 years in a top-tier consulting firm or equivalent experience focused on market analysis and/or growth/strategy commercial projects.

Undergraduate degree in [relevant field/domain] and top tier MBA or other graduate degree required.

The salary range for this role is $310,000 to $320,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
