Job Description
We are looking for a Global Benefits & Mobility Lead to drive our programs, partner with our internal stakeholders (People Partners, Recruiters, Business Leaders and Owls) and provide creative solutions while supporting other areas of Total Rewards. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Total Rewards, you'll review program design, facilitate and implement changes to the benefits programs, domestic & international mobility programs and ensure effective administration and compliance of TR initiatives globally. In line with Hootsuite's distributed workforce strategy, our flexible work arrangement allows for remote work or a hybrid model. This role is open to applicants located in BC, Ontario, or Alberta.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Drive Global Benefits and Mobility programs, including administration and compliance of Short and Long Term Disability programs across all locations.
  • Perform in-depth analysis of existing benefits offerings and initiatives. Recommend changes by understanding employee requirements, studying trends and best practices and aligning with Hootsuite's Guiding Principles.
  • Manage business relationships with external vendors, providing feedback and driving continuous improvement of processes and services
  • Partner with brokers and vendors to benchmark benefits market data, relocation packages and mobility services to ensure that Hootsuite programs remain competitive, compliant, sustainable and relevant.
  • Provide consultation and advice on benefit programs and mobility solutions to People Partners, Recruiters and other stakeholders in a timely and efficient manner
  • Lead and develop a scalable Global Mobility program to provide solutions to meet business needs
  • Create, update and maintain resources and guidelines for employees, managers, and our the Talent Acquisition and People Partner teams (e.g. information sessions, policy guideline documents, etc.)
  • Administer our mobility programs (permanent relocation, short and long term assignments, business traveler and commuter) and be the first point of contact for employees, Business Leaders, the People team, and external vendors for all mobility related matters
  • Mentor and guide other members of the TR team in the relevant work areas, including global Benefits and Mobility
  • Provide support on Total Rewards initiatives/projects throughout the year as needed, including, Equity Compensation
  • Perform other related duties as assigned


WHAT YOU'LL NEED
  • Bachelors' degree in any discipline (preferred) with significant relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and/or experience
  • Advanced level of expertise in global benefits and regulatory compliance
  • Understanding of global mobility concepts, policies and processes
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to translate and present complex solutions and concepts to the business, the People Team and Senior Leadership
  • Basic knowledge in immigration, tax, relocation and social security policies and procedures

  • Bonus Points: CEBS designation, Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant or working towards it
