Job Description
QED Systems, LLC, is currently recruiting for an Operations Research Analyst to join our team at the Pentagon, Arlington, VA to support our HQDA G-3/5/7 Support Services contract. This position will serve as the lead Army Policy planner and integrator of Army Policy requirements and activities focused on Army Information Advantage (IA).

Duties:
  • Serve as policy planner and integrator of Army Policy requirements and activities across the division portfolio and associated stakeholders.
  • Provide analysis, recommendations and execute updates weekly on NIPR and SIPR SharePoint portals and shared JWICS files to enhance and streamline knowledge management.
  • Provide written recommendations in memorandum format for the integration, coordination, and synchronization of IA actions.
  • Track all Army, Joint, Executive Communication and Control (ECC) and Congressional actions/tasks to ensure all taskings are recorded, disseminated, and tracked to completion.
  • Analyze taskers and provide written comments for program integration tasks associated with IA, OPSEC, MILDEC and other emerging division responsibilities including other information advantage activities.
  • Participate in activities relating to the Army Information Advantage Council (AIAC), the General Officer Review Councils IA GOSCs, the CoCs, and all related working groups and meetings.
  • Assist in the staffing and review of Service IA publications.
  • Schedule rooms, VTC sessions, maintain contact lists, and disseminate notifications, agendas, read-ahead packages for all meetings and conferences.

Required Skills & Experience:
  • Detailed-oriented with excellent technical, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Must be able to work with Government-provided software packages to include MS Office products (Outlook, Word, SharePoint, PowerPoint, and Excel).
  • Must be able to think critically and apply analytical methodologies to raw data to present clear and precise recommendations.
  • Must be able to clearly articulate analysis through both oral and written communication.
  • Ability to focus on Mission requirements while tracking multiple competing priorities.
  • Experience working in headquarters environments on the Army/Joint Staff and/or Major Army Commands.
  • Proficient in planning and execution of working groups.
  • Operational experience using standard automated toolsets to monitor database performance and maintain database operation.

Required Clearance:
  • ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Top Secret w/ SCI eligibility

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree required, Masters degree preferred.
  • At least ten (10) years of relevant experience.

Travel:

Less than 10% travel is expected for this position. Travel may include continental United States and outside continental United States locations.

Work Environment:

This position will be co-located with the customer and other contractors in Government office spaces. While not generally authorized, telework may be required due to exceptional circumstances (extreme weather, pandemic, etc.).

Physical demands of this position include ability to:
  • Be independently mobile.
  • Communicate effectively with co-workers and customers.
  • Withstand prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and computer use.
  • Climb stairs, ramps, ladders, and work stands.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday. Flexibility around core hours. Travel may occur outside of normal core hours.
