The Role

JPA Health is actively seeking a Senior Social Media Strategist who will lead the development, execution and reporting of comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand awareness, engagement, and business impact. This role requires strategic thinking, content planning, data analysis, and team collaboration to drive results across multiple platforms. This role is client facing and requires the candidate to become a trusted advisor to our clients. 

This position is a full-time, hybrid role reporting to any JPA office (i.e., Boston, Washington, DC, New York City) 2 days per week and working remotely 3 days per week.  

 

The Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, oversight, mentorship, and best practices for all synchronized disciplines involved in our social media campaigns, both internal and client. 
  • Develop the organizational approach and processes for all social media work 
  • Develop and implement overarching social media strategies aligned with organizational goals. 
  • Oversee content creation, curation, and scheduling for all social platforms. 
  • Analyze campaign performance and adjust tactics to meet KPIs. 
  • Lead paid social advertising campaigns, optimizing for reach and ROI. 
  • Stay ahead of trends and integrate innovative approaches into strategies. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align social media with broader campaigns. 
  • Mentor junior team members and oversee workflows. 

 

About You

Our ideal candidate must have:

  • Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of experience in social media strategy 
  • Experience leading multidiscipline teams to produce social media campaigns 
  • Both operational and strategic experience, including content development and posting 
  • Expertise in analytics tools like Google Analytics, Sprout Social, or Hootsuite. 
  • Strong understanding of paid media campaigns. 
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Experience in team leadership and project management. 
  • Pharma agency experience is required

The anticipated starting pay for this role is between $85,000 - $110,000 annually, based on a variety of factors including but not limited to experience, qualifications, and location. You may also be eligible for performance-based bonuses. We review compensation annually and evaluate readiness for promotions every quarter.
