How You'll Spend Your Time:In this role, you will:
- Develop Winning Proposals: Craft and present compelling sales and engineering proposals that address customer needs while maximizing value.
- Engage with Clients: Analyze customer engineering requirements, consult on solutions, and build long-term relationships that promote trust and loyalty.
- Lead Engineering Efforts: Design complex ammonia-based refrigeration systems for manufacturing and industrial facilities, applying your technical and practical knowledge.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Partner with Project Managers to align strategic approaches and ensure seamless project execution.
- Strengthen Vendor Relationships: Develop and maintain connections with key manufacturers and vendors to secure favorable product quotes and enhance solutions.
- Provide Technical Expertise: Interpret customer specifications and ensure engineering technical needs are met while adhering to local and federal regulations.
- Mentor Future Leaders: Guide and mentor junior engineers and interns to build a strong pipeline of talent.
- Deliver Value-Added Solutions: Identify opportunities to expand beyond initial customer requests, offering additional Preston services, such as parts or maintenance.
- Travel Strategically: Engage in face-to-face customer interactions across the U.S. to support sales activities and ensure project success.

- Education & Experience: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a minimum of 10 years of industrial refrigeration sales and engineering experience.
- Technical Proficiency: Strong knowledge of ammonia refrigeration systems.
- Sales Expertise: A proven self-starter with a track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
- Detail-Oriented Thinking: The ability to identify potential sales opportunities beyond the customer's initial request.
- Customer Management Skills: Demonstrated ability to manage relationships, perceptions, and expectations.
- Adaptability: Capable of thriving in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Effective Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills to foster relationships and close deals
