Position Overview: The Care for Business Marketing team is searching for a Senior Marketing Manager responsible for developing and implementing B2B, B2B2C, and B2C marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness, consideration, enrollment, and utilization of Care benefits. This individual will work cross-functionally with Sales, Account Management, Creative, and CRM teams to ensure successful, results-driven marketing campaigns.
The ideal candidate will have an appreciation and understanding for the unique needs of our customers (small to large employers) and understand how to market effectively to employees/members via employer, owned, and paid channels. Creativity, organization, excellent project management, and strong communication is essential to succeed in this role.
Note: This position is hybrid (3 days per week in office) based in Shelton, CT. What You'll Do:- Successfully execute events from start to finish, seamlessly coordinating all moving parts and ensuring that any last-minute changes or obstacles are handled with minimal disruption
- Ensure Care for Business is well represented at sponsored events, coordinating on-site presence with event organizers and supporting/prepping CfB attendees
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders on developing event content and themes
- Develop new events and marketing tactics with an innovative and creative mindset, keeping a pulse on event trends and developments
- Conduct post-event evaluations to determine success and areas for improvement; analyze feedback and communicate learnings for future events
- Scout and secure event venues, negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers, and coordinate logistics such as transportation, accommodations, ordering and delivery of event materials, and more
- Lead, develop, and inspire a team of event marketers
- Collaborate with CfB leadership to establish quarterly OKRs aligned to business priorities, ensure team efforts are aligned to OKRs and that progress is being made
- Identify opportunities to drive efficiency and optimize processes and ways of working
- Assist with contracting and budget management (event spend management, budget allocation, annual planning)
- Coordinate regularly with website and product teams to ensure event-related information is timely and accurate
- Increase awareness and attendance of our virtual events by collaborating with marketing and product teams, testing new tactics across owned/operated channels and employer channels
- Oversee the successful execution of custom seminars/webinars, working with the team to provide guidance on event topics that meet unique customer needs and objectives
- Support team as needed on client seminars, monthly Care Talks, and benefit fair fulfillment
Who You Are:- 5+ years experience in corporate, in-person event planning
- 2+ years of people management experience
- Willing to travel up to 10% annually
- Customer-centric, possesses a can-do attitude and has proven success in client-facing roles
- Critical thinker with strong problem-resolution skills
- Experience managing a budget
- Confidence in hosting virtual meetings with large audiences
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to collect and analyze results and communicate key insights
- Organized with an ability to prioritize and juggle multiple projects at once
- Adheres to project timelines and meets deadlines
- Experience with Zoom, Google Suite, PowerPoint
- Plus but not required: experience with Tableau and Salesforce

Salary Range: $80,000-$115,000
The base salary range above represents the anticipated low and high end of the national salary range for this position.
Actual salaries may vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to work location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Care.com's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses and short- and long-term incentives.
