MEP Construction Project Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking an Experienced HVAC Project Manager to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of commercial MEP (Mechanical Electrical Plumbing)construction. Candidate must have excellent organizational skills & communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and as a team player. PMP cert is plus!

Location: Oak Forest, IL

Type: Full time Permanant position

Pay: $70K-$110K DOE + Excellent benefits package!

Job Duties:

• Manage the overall HVAC job scope on small and large-scale commercial projects.
• Negotiate and prepare vendor and subcontractor purchase orders and evaluate submittals to reflect contract drawing and specifications.
• Work with general contractors and job foremen to determine scheduling needs and provide relevant job information to ensure efficient field production.
• Coordinate and schedule subcontractors to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Overseeing the execution of all work, including quality and production and ensuring that the crew works to job specifications.
• Provide follow up and closeout documents for completed jobs.
• Other tasks as required to ensure sound completion of projects that are assigned to you.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 year of previous HVAC or GC Construction Project Management experience.
• Ability to interact well with Team members, Contractors and Vendors.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Ability to multitask and work well under pressure.
• Ability to oversee projects independently and have a keen eye for details.
• Valid Driver's License
• Ability to pass Background Check / Drug screen.

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• On call
• Weekends as needed

Experience:

• Project management: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• Drives License (Required)

Ability to Commute:

• Chicagoland Area.
