The Consulting Manager leads a team of consultants to deliver high-value solutions to clients, ensuring projects align with strategic objectives and business goals. This role focuses on client relationship management, team leadership, and driving operational excellence in consulting engagements. The Consulting Manager plays a key role in shaping the department's profitability, process improvement, and overall success.

Requirements

Client Relationship Management:
  • Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, ensuring a deep understanding of their business needs and objectives.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships to foster trust and repeat business.
  • Collaborate with clients to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.

Team Leadership and Development:
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of consultants, fostering a culture of collaboration and professional growth.
  • Provide regular feedback, conduct performance evaluations, and identify training opportunities.
  • Allocate resources effectively to ensure project success and team efficiency.

Project Oversight:
  • Oversee multiple consulting projects simultaneously, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and exceed client expectations.
  • Develop strategies and methodologies to enhance project delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Address project challenges proactively, offering solutions to mitigate risks.

Operational Excellence:
  • Establish and optimize consulting processes, tools, and frameworks to improve team performance and service delivery.
  • Monitor financial performance of projects, including profitability, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Contribute to the development of new service offerings and strategies to drive revenue growth.

Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with sales, implementation, and product teams to align consulting services with organizational goals.
  • Present findings, recommendations, and project outcomes to clients and senior management.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices.

Strategic Contribution:
  • Support the growth of the consulting division as a profitable unit, contributing to long-term strategy and business development.
  • Identify opportunities for expanding service offerings and increasing market share.


Skills & Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Proven experience in consulting, project management, or a leadership role in a professional services environment.
  • Exceptional leadership, coaching, and team management skills.
  • Strong client-facing and relationship-building capabilities.
