OverviewKimley-Horn has an opportunity for a motivated Senior Project Manager to expand our Electrical practice in Mesa, AZ!
Responsibilities- Lead the design and analysis of complex electrical systems for renewable generation, energy storage, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, transportation, aviation, and industrial projects
- Responsible for the review and development of design documents and reports, including electrical layouts, equipment schematics and block diagrams, electrical system calculations, and one-line diagrams
- Daily interaction and collaboration on multi-disciplinary teams, with interaction across Kimley-Horn offices
- Prepare project specifications, electrical construction cost estimates, and proposals, supporting the growth of electrical engineering service areas in the lcoal market and across the country
- Leadership responsibilities include:

- Building and maintaining positive client relationships
- Having open communication with your partners and team
- Growing and leading an Electrical practice
- Our Project Managers/Practice Builders manage their projects profitably, transition work to qualified staff, grow and mentor staff, and act as a positive leader and mentor
- The successful candidate will be given a great deal of autonomy to lead, direct, and grow their business

Qualifications- 8+ years of relevant experience managing Electrical projects
- Registered Professional Engineer (P.E.) license
- Firm understanding of the National Electrical Code, National Electrical Safety Code, IEEE and ANSI Standards
- Ability to effectively communicate positively at all levels of the organization
- Ability to manage and mentor staff, and direct resources effectively in a positive manner
- Demonstrated ability to manage projects profitably
