Position Summary:The Sales Operations Specialist/Manager is responsible for enabling the sales team's efficiency, productivity, and success through streamlined processes, data-driven insights, and cross-functional collaboration. By focusing on operational and strategic support, this role ensures the sales team can focus on their primary goal: driving revenue and building customer relationships.
Key Responsibilities:- Process Optimization:
- Design, implement, and refine sales processes to enhance efficiency and reduce friction in daily operations.
- Automate repetitive tasks and optimize workflows to allow sales representatives more time for client-facing activities.
- Data Management and Analytics:
- Maintain and analyze sales data, creating actionable reports and dashboards on metrics like pipeline health, performance trends, and revenue forecasts.
- Offer data-driven insights to identify opportunities and address challenges proactively.
- CRM and Technology Management:
- Administer and optimize CRM systems (e.g., HubSpot), ensuring data integrity and full team adoption.
- Implement and manage additional sales enablement tools to streamline operations.
- Forecasting and Planning:
- Collaborate with functional sales leadership to create accurate sales forecasts and assist in strategic planning for growth and resource allocation.
- Performance Monitoring:
- Track individual and team performance, identify areas for improvement, and recommend strategies to achieve sales targets.
- Sales Enablement:
- Equip the sales team with training, materials, and tools needed to improve productivity.
- Manage deal desk operations, ensuring contract accuracy and policy compliance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with operations, marketing, finance, product, and customer success teams to align goals and drive shared initiatives.
- Facilitate alignment between sales strategies and broader organizational objectives.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in sales operations, data analysis, or a related role.
- Proficiency with CRM tools like HubSpot and data visualization platforms.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work across departments effectively.
