With the growth of the business globally we are expanding our
Global Security Office (GSO) and are looking to recruit a
Security Engineer to join the team in either the
Tampa, Dallas or Houston regions. Reporting to the GSO Security Engineer Manager, you will come from a Security Engineering background with seasoned experience
as an administrator of the platforms below:
Essential Skills :Varonis, QROC/QRadar, Defender for Endpoints, Defender for Cloud Apps, Defender for Cloud Identity, Defender for O365 and Mimecast.
Responsibilities : - Assist GRC with performing vendor assessments and technical security risk reviews.
- Contribute to the technical design of security systems and services to meet organizational needs whilst managing risks.
- Day-to day administration of numerous security platforms used by SecEng and SOC teams.
- Work closely with Project Management/Change Control to deliver new solutions and ongoing system upgrades/enhancements.
- Research and apply innovative security solutions to new or existing problems.
- Support and collaborate with other security teams (SOC & GRC) towards a unified vision.
Desired Skills :Digital Shadows, ServiceNow, Grey Matter, ZMAN and Joe Sandbox
Qualifications : - Prior experience in Security Engineering and track record in carrying out technical security risk assessments.
- Good understanding for how to assess third-party suppliers of cloud/SaaS based technology platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in a security related field is preferred (i.e., Security Analysis, Penetration Testing, Malware Analysis, Digital Forensics, Network Engineering, Computer Science).
- Strong technical knowledge across various Security Engineering pillars (Network Security, Cloud Security, Infrastructure Security, Email Security and Endpoint Security).
- Ability to participate in complex vendor troubleshooting calls and diagnose/resolve tool and policy issues.
- Knowledge of scripting languages is considered highly advantageous (e.g., Python, Bash scripting).

Compensation Statement: The salary range is $100,000 - $130,000 annually, dependent on several variables including but not limited to education, experience, skills, and geography. In addition, A&M offers a discretionary bonus program which is based on several factors, including individual and firm performance. Please ask your recruiter for details.
Full-time Positions and Part-time Positions Over 30 hours Regular employees working 30 or more hours per week are also entitled to participate in Alvarez & Marsal Holdings' fringe benefits consisting of healthcare plans, flexible spending and savings accounts, life, AD&D, and disability coverages at rates determined from time to time as well as a 401(k) retirement plan.
