Job DescriptionPrimary Responsibility : Support tax planning, income tax compliance; accounting, and financial reporting requirements of the Company.
What You'll Do : - Prepare, review, and manage quarterly and annual income tax provisions for international and U.S. entities.
- Provide corporate-level support for international tax issues (VAT, transfer pricing, etc.).
- Develop tax planning and strategy for acquisitions, business transactions, and restructuring.
- Collaborate with corporate and business controllers on significant transactions and tax compliance.
- Ensure compliance with SOX 404 regulations and document procedures.
- Coordinate responses to tax examinations at federal, state, local, and international levels.
- Support the Director and VP of Tax with REIT-related issues and projects, including mergers and acquisitions.
What Experience and Education You Need : - Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or Masters in Tax required.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of progressive tax experience, preferably in a public accounting firm, with expertise in ASC 740 and Uncertain Tax Positions.
- Tax Expertise: Corporate/Partnership tax experience for federal, state, and local taxes; international tax experience, including Subpart F and GILTI inclusions.
- Skills: Proven ability to manage multiple projects, perform well under pressure, and maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced environment.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with Microsoft Office, tax software systems like One Source, and the ability to research and communicate complex tax issues clearly.
