This position is contingent upon your ability to maintain/transfer a TS/SCI with Poly clearance.

This position is contingent upon customer requirements and/or their approval.

In this role, you will:
  • Responsible for evaluating and preparing system engineering and technical analysis documentation to include: Software Requirements Specifications, Software Design Specifications, Software Installation Guides, and User manuals for a complex integrated Enterprise Management suite of High Performance Computing SW solutions.
  • Must utilize systems engineering experience in carrying out functions, including configuration and resource management, quality assurance, and software integration, acquisition, and testing.
  • Must contribute to the development of System Engineering plans, Initial Capabilities Documents, Requirements Specification, an Interface Control Documents.
  • Will also need to record and display internally developed solutions through development of deep-dive documents, flow charts, layout, as well as diagrams.
  • Qualifications must include: BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
  • Proven working experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Unix/Linux based environments.
  • Solid experience in administration and performance tuning of application stacks (e.g. Tomcat, JBoss, Apache, Ruby, NGINX).
  • Experience with virtualize and containerization.
  • Experience with monitoring systems.
  • Experience with automation software (e.g. Ansible, Puppet, Salt).
  • Solid scripting skills (e.g. shell scripts, Perl, Ruby, Python).
  • Solid network knowledge (OSI network layers, TCP/IP).


In compliance with state and local laws regarding pay transparency, the salary range for this role is $131,293.17 to $227,532.46; however, Serco considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will have:
  • An active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
  • U.S. Citizenship.
  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
  • 10 years of demonstrated experience.
  • Proven working experience in installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Unix/Linux based environments.
  • Solid experience in administration and performance tuning of application stacks (e.g. Tomcat, JBoss, Apache, Ruby, NGINX).
  • Experience with virtualize and containerization.
  • Experience with monitoring systems.
  • Experience with automation software (e.g. Ansible, Puppet, Salt).
