Job Description
Due to the nature of the work, candidates are required to be US Citizens or Green Card holders.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Research and prepare manuals such as Operators Manuals, Maintenance Manuals, and IETMs, and other publications relating to military vehicles and equipment
  • Incorporate changes into appropriate manuals as required by Engineering Change Proposals, Engineering Release Records, and DA Form 2028s
  • Prepare and edit technical manual and IETM procedures which include informational and instructional narrative on theory of operation, maintenance, diagnostics and selection of parts and assembly
  • Coordinate with Illustrators, explain type of illustrations required, breakdown of text and arrangement of illustrations
  • Participate in Validations/Verifications to ensure technical accuracy of publications materials
  • Performs additional duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelors degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or similar
  • 3-5 years of experience in Reliability & Test in the military industry or internship with a military company
  • Aptitude for mechanical applications to vehicles and equipment
  • Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and schematics and visualize in 3D
  • A command of English grammar and the ability to convey or accurately describe in words, using technical terminology, how something works or how it is disassembled/assembled
  • Familiar with reliability metrics: MTBF, MTTR, MR and Ao
  • Familiar and experienced with DoD Architecture Framework (DoDAF) and ICDs
  • Ability to derive System, Subsystem/Component Level Requirements
  • Familiar with TeamTrack applications PIM and DTS including Teamcenter VisMockUp
  • Proficient computer knowledge and skills including Microsoft Office
