THE VITAL ROLE YOU HAVE

As our Territory Sales Manager, your typical day involves coaching and supporting the development and career planning of your team, continuously evaluating their performance, and ensuring full account coverage through proper staffing and recruiting. You strengthen key customer relationships, drive solution development, and ensure consistent execution and accountability in the sales process. Collaborating with the VP of Sales and Regional Manager, you set and achieve sales goals for your region, meeting budgeted sales, market share, and financial objectives. You stay informed about current and new agriculture equipment, appraising used agricultural equipment for trade valuations, and keeping up-to-date with all incentive programs. You develop sales plans and forecasts, monitor competitor activities, and share best practices across the department, enhancing internal and external customer satisfaction. Additionally, you support integrated solutions, including agronomic decision support, machine logistics, machine optimization, and irrigation initiatives.

This position oversees the sales teams in three locations (Alliance, Gordon, and Torrington).

OUR REQUIREMENTS
  • Knowledge of current agriculture issues
  • Proficiency with computerized tools and reports
  • Ability to work flexible hours and weekends
  • Ability to motivate others through coaching, knowledge-sharing, and modeling
  • Strong mathematical abilities
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer relationship skills
  • Highly analytical with great problem-solving skills

Having 3+ years of account management or direct sales experience in agricultural farm equipment or a related field is preferred but not required. A bachelor's degree in business or an agriculture field is a plus! Our ideal candidate also has the willingness to mentor inexperienced candidates.
