Position Summary:
This National Accounts Operations Manager is responsible for:
- Coordinating and completing all National Account requests and projects that the District receives as the main point of contact.
- Ensuring clear and constant communication between National Account entities and the District.
- Holding a team of direct reports and other District employees accountable for timely and satisfactory completion of all National Account requests and projects.
Duties:
- Directly managing a team of technicians and other Operations resources to perform National Account installation projects, service calls, and inspections within the District.
- Sourcing and managing subcontractors when capabilities or volume exceed the District's resources.
- Coordinating and completing any National Account survey requests that come to the District.
- Communicating timely updates and completion of projects and other requests to the National Account Operations Center or other National Account "requestor".
- Ensuring that the District is performing National Account work in accordance with specific requirements and job scopes.
- Coordinating parts, plans, permits, lifts, and any other ancillary needs to complete National Account projects.
- Facilitating, scheduling, and confirming all National Account work within the District.
- Updating the General Manager, as required, on positive outcomes, areas of concern, and other National Account reporting.
Qualifications - External
Education/Certification:
- High School Diploma/GED; Bachelor's degree preferred
Experience
- Three years of Operations Management experience in the Security industry.
Skills/Requirements
- Must have a proven track record of successfully managing an Operations Department, installation technicians, service technicians, and inspectors.
- Must be able to multi-task and react quickly, with sound judgment, in unexpected situations.
- Must have excellent communication skills.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).
- Must be able to work extended hours to support timelines
- Must be able participate in conference calls, office meetings and, "on site" customer meetings.
- Must able to travel to office and field work as well as customer visits, upon request.
- Physical requirements may include, but are not limited to: climbing up or down ladders, occasional lifting up to 50lbs, stairs, scaffolding, ramps and the like; remaining in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods; moving about to accomplish tasks or moving from one worksite to another; moving in different positions to accomplish tasks in various environments including tight and confined spaces; and general office duties including use of a computer.
